The IT PMO Specialist is responsible for serving as a key role in the execution and delivery of PMO process standardization at Ferguson Enterprises.

They will work closely with the Project Delivery team and technology verticals to identify relationships, dependencies, and risks across the initiatives within the portfolio.

This role will be responsible for developing close relationships with IT and business partners within our organization and with our vendors.Location: This role is approved for 100% remote work.Responsibilities:Build and manage relationships with key IT partners including Managers and DirectorsHelp identify areas for process changes and drive execution of these improvements across the enterprise, to include Organizational Change Management.Drive implementation and adoption of our portfolio management toolset with the project managers and key partners.Demand Management:Coordinate with Service Management Organization (SMO) to adhere to the process for capturing, evaluating, and prioritizing demand; including Service Catalog / OfferingsAssist Service Owners with demand impacts (e.g., Business Cases, Roadmaps)Coordinate with Finance to ensure financial estimates (CapEx, OpEx) are being captured for “forecasted” demand
– including budget reforecastingQuality Control:Help identify similar or overlapping work across the portfolio to reduce duplicate efforts and create synergy across related projects (e.g., programs)Ensure integrity of data entered into the PPM toolset, along with adherence to the defined policiesReporting & Analytics:Build, Update, and Support Power BI ReportsPerform Data Analysis to find errors and trends in the data.

Present these trends to appropriate partner groups.Connect with PMs and End Users of reports on stale or missing dataSupervise data refreshes and integrations for errorsBuild new fields in PWA as neededWork with data owners on future integrations (e.g., JIRA)Creation of Power Automate workflows to drive automated communications and data transformationsDocumentation of Reports, Transformations, and Source system fieldsVersion Control of Reporting configuration itemsQualifications:Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or related field preferred.6 years meaningful experienceExperience working in project management offices, preferred experience with PPM toolsExperience working with PowerBI or Access databases.Proficiency with Office 365 applications, especially Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.Superb communication, problem solving, and analytical skills, and solid attention to detail.Ability to establish workflows, to manage multiple projects, and to meet vital deadlines.Ability to work with and empower others on a collaborative basis to ensure success of team.Ferguson is dedicated to providing meaningful benefits programs and products to our associates and their families-geared toward benefits, wellness, financial protection, and retirement savings.
