You Are:
Passionate about solving complex problems at the intersection of global commodities businesses and technology. You’re experienced in the commodities trading, within the oil and gas or utilities industries, and you’re hungry to expand your expertise and put it to use. You’re a strong communicator and collaborator, motivated to co-create with clients and help your teammates grow.

The Work:

  • Enable clients to transform their businesses with product redesigns and changes to organizational management.
  • Present your recommendations to client executives.
  • Gather functional requirements and create functional designs.
  • Conduct system configuration, test planning, and execution activities.
  • Defining, planning, and executing end-to-end Commodity Trading & Risk Management solutions, including transaction capture, risk management, logistics, and accounting.
  • Perform Functional analysis work in support of ETRM/CTRM implementations

Travel: For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.     Here’s What You Need:

    • At least two years of experience in the commodities trading industry.
    • At least 2 years of functional experience with a leading ETRM/CTRM such as OpenLink Endur or Allegro.
    • The ability to engage with clients about opportunities for commercial optimization, cost reduction, and process improvement.
    • Strong knowledge of industry-leading practices.
    • Willingness to learn the language of Accenture Analytics, so you can define and position industry-specific analytics solutions.
    • Powerful interpersonal skills that allow you to communicate effectively with everyone from your team members, clients at all levels, to vendors and third-party providers.
    • An undergraduate degree.

    Bonus Points If:

    • You have at least two years of experience in a commercial or risk management role at a leading commodities trading consulting or supply organization, independent power producer, or midstream marketing company.
    • You have two or more years of in-depth experience with crude markets, downstream energy, and value chains
    • You have experience with crude, refined products, power, natural gas, natural gas liquids or LNG.
    • You have two or more years of experience in a least three of the following:
    • Traded markets and products
    • Portfolio analysis/reporting
    • Statistical analysis and modeling
    • Physical logistics (scheduling, operations, settlements)
    • Measurement, modeling, and reporting of credit, market, or middle office risk
    • Accounting and controls processes and systems

    Compensation for roles at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired inCalifornia,Colorado,New York Cityor Washington as set forth below andinformation on benefits offered is here.

    Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role

    California:$67,900 to $188,600

    Colorado: $67,900 to $163,000

    New York City:$78,600 to $188,600

    Washington:$72,300 to $173,500
