Lighthouse, an Alera Group Company is seeking an Internal Account Specialist position to join their Property and Casualty team .

This position is responsible for a wide range of behind-the-scenes services for our Lighthouse team and customers.

A successful Internal Account Specialist will have the service skills needed to meet our internal and external customers’ needs.

The ability to organize and prioritize work during high volume periods to meet deadlines and expectations is critical to the success of this individual.

This position requires interaction with Lighthouse leadership, colleagues, customers, carrier representatives, underwriters, and vendor partners.

· Support client-facing Account Executives and Account Managers both proactively and reactively across all departments
· Manage daily correspondence, transactions, and documentation from internal and external partners
· Support internal and client-facing reporting responsibilities, ensuring data insights are available for educated decision-making
· Data integrity, including but not limited to agency management system maintenance
· Research coverages, client information, billing, etc.

to support client-facing efforts
· Audit and correct agency documentation, as well as log workflow opportunities to be reviewed by management
· Support and work alongside vendor partners, including but not limited to DocuSign, Vertafore, and ReSource Pro
· Attend industry-related continuing education and training courses
· Re-direct work quickly to ensure proper action by the appropriate team
· Support mail and incoming calls Qualifications
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Previous experience in the insurance industry
· Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and communicate insurance coverages
· Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Vertafore products a plus
· Capable of building positive relationships with other associates and communicating the status of shared projects
