As a Heat Technician with Adam’s, you will learn from Minnesota’s best.

In training you will learn from our Ph.D.

Entomologist and once you’re licensed, you will work alongside a team of technicians that have more master’s licenses than any other company in the state.

Once you are licensed and running a route, you’ll be making a difference every day by solving and preventing customers’ pest concerns.

In this job you allow the customers in your community to enjoy the homes and businesses in their lives.

A Day In The Life Of A Technician: Before your day begins, your agent will develop an efficient route for you, factoring your home and customer requirements.

One of the refreshing aspects of pest control is that each service is different.

Each stop you are eliminating or preventing different types of pests in different types of settings.

The creativity allowed, unique knowledge, and new challenges faced everyday keep the job fresh.

A lot of technicians also enjoy that pest control allows them to be a detective.

As a technician you look for signs of pests, identify pests, and factor where pests are being seen into how you approach the solution.

General Tasks: Perform heat treatments as needed with knowledge about each heating system, their capabilities and their applications; how to place and monitor data logging system; how electrical connections are made; how to effectively place fans for the proper movement of air; reporting and data collection techniques; pesticides
– what to use and how to use them Perform chemical bed bug treatments as needed Provides general pest management services to homeowners and businesses to protect people and property.

Delivers services in accordance with company policy and within governmental requirements Develops and maintains positive and professional relationships with customers Performs inspections for pests, pest harborage, and pest entry ways Determines, recommends, and provides required pest management services and is proactive in solving customer pest problems General Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Ability to pass a work simulation, drug screen, medical exam, and criminal background check Valid driver’s license Customer Service and Leadership experience (Preferred) Ability to perform math and understand units of measure Physical conditions may require lifting objects between 5-50lbs Able to work in extreme climate conditions ranging from current climate temperatures up to 140 degrees F.

This position requires you to be DOT non CDL Certified
