The Boeing Defense, Space and Security organization is seeking an Experienced Operations/Systems Analysis Engineer at Colorado Springs, CO.

The Successful candidate will report directly to the Boeing Systems Engineering lead on the Space Based Space Surveillance (SBSS) Program.

Position Responsibilities: Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.

Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.

Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.

Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.

Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.

Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

This position requires an active Secret U.S.

Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.

(A U.S.

Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 4 years of experience working in the aerospace field with satellites.

2 years of experience working with the United States Air Force; Space Command.

2 years of experience working as or directly supporting satellite mission operators .

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Minimum technical Bachelor’s Degree 5 years or more engineering experience Typical Education/ Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.

Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.

PhD, Master3 years’ related work experience).

In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
