This is a Contract position in Telluride, CO posted November 18, 2022.

ADMINISTRATIVE CLERKJob Summary:The Administrative Clerk performs a variety of clerical, record keeping, and customer service tasks to assist with the smooth operation of the organization.

In addition, the Administrative Clerk performs diverse clerical, technical, and administrative tasks that require extensive knowledge of office procedures and computer skills.Supervisory Responsibilities:None.Duties/Responsibilities:Greets and directs clients and visitors.

Makes appointments and referrals.

Answers phone calls and emails.

Performs data entry and filing tasks for accounts payable, purchase orders, equipment inventory, and confidential employee or departmental files.

Receives, records, and distributes packages and mail.

Compiles budget data and maintains financial records as requested.

Copies, collates, and otherwise prepares reports for mailings, meetings, and other correspondence.

Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Ability to greet visitors, clients, and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner.

Ability to type at least 50 wpm.

Ability to proofread.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as record keeping and filing.

Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems.

Ability to organize and prioritize work.

Ability to easily use Microsoft Word and Excel.

Knowledge and practice of organizational and time management skills.

Ability to type with accuracy.

Ability to use a personal computer and various computer programs.

Ability to learn new software programs.

Ability to use a digital camera.

Ability to maintain and update logs, files, and records with a high degree of accuracy.

Ability to analyze information and make judgment decisions.

Ability to understand and interpret complex oral and written instructions, documents, and programs.

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Ability to interact effectively and tactfully with the public and staff and to establish working relationships with other employees and the public.Education and Experience:High school graduate.1-2 years of clerical work experience.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.CompensationWe will pay an hourly rate of $15.00 per hour for this assignment.
