Program Manager


This is a Contract position in Englewood, CO posted August 1, 2022.

Job Description We have partnered with a wonderful nonprofit organization that is looking for an experienced Program Manager to join their team for an amazing opportunity.

This position is located in Miami, Florida .

The Program Manager will be responsible for managing and leading a new national service program.

This new national service program places full-time focus on distressed and underserved communities by providing financial literacy, financial planning, budgeting, saving, and other financial counseling education to the community.

This program is designed to support the organizations mission to deliver financial education to low
– & moderate-income residents.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Oversee the organizations newly awarded national service program.

Oversee the organizations financial education program.

Recruit, train, and manage the organizations volunteers.

Assist in implementing organizations new software systems.

Creating and managing long-term goals.

Assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.

REQUIRMENTS: 4 years nonprofit experience required.

BA degree and a minimum of 5 year’s related experience in finance management & serving low-income communities.

HUD (Housing Counseling Program) certification encouraged or willingness to obtain.

Experience in starting and/or managing financial programs in the nonprofit industry.

Manager or supervisor experience, including managing and training volunteers.

Knowledge and awareness of current community needs and trends.

Provide verification to legally work in the US upon hire and update, if required.
