Responsibilities: The Business Process Improvement Senior Consultant will support the strategic and operational needs of transforming organizations.

Candidates must be able to support diverse teams across multiple engagements, conduct requirements gathering and future state visioning sessions with senior-level clients, analyze and document complex quantitative and qualitative datasets, develop work products for senior level executive clients (e.g., standard operating procedures, job aides, Visio process flows, guidance documents), and support the creation and maintenance of project documentation.

Candidates must have client-facing experience in supporting business process improvement initiatives.

As a Senior Consultant, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and public health experience, helping our clients solve complex public health and business issues from strategy to execution.

A successful Senior Consultant is one that is self-motivated, outcomes oriented, and capable and willing to develop solutions on their own and collaboratively as part of a team of highly skilled professionals.

Job Description/Responsibilities:Support a portfolio of management consulting projects, with particular focus on business process improvement projects for public health clientsGuide clients through complex efforts (e.g., organizational transformations, business process re-engineering), using approaches grounded in best practicesDevelop and deliver recommendations for process optimization, organizational improvements, and change management and stakeholder engagementUse quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategy, problem-solve, and support decision-makingDemonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, including planning and facilitating client meetings Deliver high-quality client service in a fast-paced, unpredictable environmentUtilize creative thinking skills and individual initiative to inform both client work and internal effortsDevelop trusted relationships with clientsProvide guidance and feedback to team members Qualifications: Required:Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fieldAt least 3 years management consulting experience or applicable process improvement experience in a professional services or healthcare environmentAt least 3 years experience supporting large client organizations, with federal experience preferredAt least 1 year experience leading project work, including client interactions and managing project timelines Preferred:Process improvement and/or project management certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, CAPM, PMP) or Master’s Degree (MBA, MPH, MPP, MHA, MPA, MSOD)Project management experienceExperience analyzing large and complex data sets, including a demonstrated thorough aptitude for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysesDemonstrated ability to collaborate and contribute as a team member: understanding personal and team roles, contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members, and proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedbackDemonstrated ability identifying and addressing client needs, building relationships with clients, developing requests for information, demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks, and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisorExperience prioritizing and handling multiple tasks, researching and analyzing pertinent client, industry and technical matters, and utilizing problem-solving skills to achieve desired outcomesStrong oral and written communication skills to various audiences in a professional business environment Additional Requirements: The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
