Our headquarters is located at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains near historic Golden, Colorado with an additional office located in Northern California (Redwood City).
About the Role
This newly created Director, Program Management role will report to the VP of Portfolio and Program Management (PPM). Within the Operations team, there are four groups: Integrated Supply Chain & Manufacturing Services, Data Services & Cloud Hosting, Customer Success and Portfolio & Program Management (PPM). This role will lead complex New Product Introduction (NPI) programs supporting the platform – embedded software, cloud, AI, mobile, data science and RPM software which come together as an integrated customer solution.
In partnership with the System Engineering and Product team, The Program Director will orchestrate product delivery activities for new product introduction (NPI) programs, ensure products are aligned to business strategies and objectives, projects are within budget, and that they meet quality standards and the needs of our customers. The incumbent will lead the core and extended product development teams (R&D, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, product/market, etc.) responsible for managing the stage gate development process activities.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to drive change in culture and behaviors and must have strong intellect and demonstrate outstanding work ethic, be capable of understanding and articulating complex scientific, interpersonal, regulatory and business issues while leading and motivating by example. This leader will also demonstrate the courage required to successfully balance the quality / timeliness polarity of superior Program Management and drive teams to succeed, or have the courage to change directions appropriately, as the facts present themselves.
